Berlin based producer Santé has delivered the best of all “Somebody That I Used To Know” Remixes. Although he only calls it an edit, I personally think it is a real Remix compared to all other versions out there. Pure tech house knowledge keeping the vibe of the original. This version has taken Berlin dancefloors by storm. It is more than a tool for the best dancefloors in the world!

Santé is a pro when it comes to techno, he released on Rekids, Souvenir and has new one out on Cocoon together with Frank Lorbeer, he has engineered Tiefschwarz’s recent album and loads of their tracks and tours the world as a DJ.

I enjoy pumping this track in front of not-only-techno-audiences and see them love dancing!

I don’t really know when this pic was taken, 2002/2003 i guess. We were young, Adam & me just finished DJing that night after having raided several second hand record stores in Stuttgart and having swapped records from my collection sitting on the floor of my old crib with records all around us… having fun listening to to classic hip hop like little kids. we did the same thing again back at his crib in hollywood later, with the same enthusiasm – adam was a hip hop and music and vinyl fan in general, like me, like many of us. I got to know him when he was touring in germany with his old band crazy town and we noticed our common interests. He was kind, funny, and of course one of the most skilled, talented, intelligent and inspiring djs ever!

Skillz recorded this tribute song and I can rely and totally agree to everything he says. nice, sad & moving at the same time. Adam will always be missed.

It’s YUM YUM Berlin this Saturday, 26th of June. Mister Santos formerly known as Ju of Massive Töne will perform together with a 6-piece live Band named Trijo Urban Session. Mister Santos has recently finished the production of his solo album & has also done remix features for Jan Delay & Stromae! DJs will be Palina Power and of course myself, Schowi – since I’m really looking forward to playing some new tunes, such as new Roots or LCD Soundsystem stuff. We will have a new second floor called Goodie Bag with DJ Mr. Thomsen who will play urban goodies from the past. So make sure to show up at beautiful Tube Club at Friedrichstrasse 180-184, Berlin-Mitte, with it’s summer terrace.

Outlines will release their second album soon, RZA & Zdar of Cassius are involved in the project, so be sure this shit is goin to be official! Irfane will be playing good records only like he is used to as a sought after parisian dj. Palina Power is going to play less records than Irfane & myself but party even more. YYYY aka Julian & Niki Pauls of Broken Hearts Club & Creathief and the Thieverettes from Frankfurt/Poland/Sweden will be spreading love in the small room.
