Damn you must be mad at me for not checking my mails and the many mp3s and msuic you have sent me. At the last count it was way over 150 unanswered new tracks i got sent, but i was reaaaal busy and will get to it as soon as i get a break. Anyway, YUM YUM affiliate and buddy passion sent me this remix/edit he did of Stromaes ginormous hit “Alors on Danse” ft Mr Santos, whom some of you will remember as Ju from the Massive Töne days. Nice mix of German/ French Vocals on one of the tunes of this fall and really good to see that Ju hasn’t lost his Mojo. Great YUM YUM version, thx @Passion. Have fun folks.

Watch this Video Die Orsons – Souljah Boy (Turn My Swag On Cover).
The sequences in the beginning are taken from “the game of war”. A short film by Luca Immesi and Giulia Brazzale.
Die Orsons are a german, Stuttgart based hip hop group, consisting of Plan B, Maeckes, Tua & Kaas. Besides being some of the few really creative hip hop acts these days, they know what’s up.
This might be the best Souljah Boy “cover” you might ever hear and watch! Trust me!

“Gotta find a new World (YUM YUM edit)” – Check out our Edit of Al Greens classic, which incorporates the drums from Amy Winehouse favourite “I am no good” as produced by Mark Ronson. Also a little Wu-Tang (Method Man) vocal is dropped in the middle of the edit, primarily because this Al Green song gained popularity in the mid 90ies when it was sampled by the RZA and used as the sole sample source for Ghostface Killah’s “Iron Maiden”? track from his debut album. Ps. True story: I used to play this song, for years until the vinyl – Shaolin Soul vol 1- actually broke one night when i was out playing. Somebody dropped it on the floor and stood on it for quite some time. Then it took me 2 years to find another vinyl copy, and after i finally did i had to go for a 180gr pressing which is just not suitable for playing. Played it anyway and i think an edit/version of this song was long overdue. So here it is – make sure to play it out loud.

check my old, old Jigga Rmx “My Name is Hova” dating back to 2004 – just found it on my old Pc. kinda nice going down memory lane at times, especially with music. still has that warm hanging out on a coner in mid-summer flavour. what do you think?
some of you req’d this tune since it was on some snowboard movies some time ago. Especially Boris Benedeks Follow me film. I hope this finds you.
if you want me to reup my old remix version of the Jay-z album “L’album Noir” drop me a line.
cheers Chrome

Our peoples from YUM YUM Vienna Dj Beware & Motorpitch just made this amazing Kevin Little rmx, tried and tested, works just fine, in aUk Funky vibe, with drums and all, it s a neat little summer gem. Gnarling bassline buildup and much more that works the track until everyone starts moving and vibrating like a Nokia -lol. Puts the shine in any summer jam. Hands down to the sounds of my peoples from YUM YUM Vienna. PS next party AUG 1st @ WUK.

I decided to do a little rework of Soko’s ‘Ill kill her’ which was one of my favourite tunes in the past four months and my iTunes play counter proves me right. Women with a french accent always sound cute and sexy (german not so… sprechen sie dick?) and no matter what she’d say you couldn’t be mad at her. Soko found a solution to get rid of her rival and this edit makes it even more obvious: Kill the bitch!

Haven’t done a version in a minute. Here is mix of the Alkoholiks classic “Only when i’m drunk” and one of my favourite mid-tempo tunes of last year Siriusmos “All the Girls”. Fits nicely at 112bpm. You kow when you need to drop this on the floor. This was done with our next YUM YUM in Berlin in mind, Which is ging down on Sat. Feb 28th at my favourite spot Scala.

A nice remix i did in 2004. They had it playing on national television and about everywhere else i went and looked. Just recently it was playing in the background of some Tv show. So a good oppurunity to revisit some of our older material that is still getting major appreciation from around the country.
Taken from my 2004 mixtape: Summit Soundcheck Vol.3 (couldn’t get Logic to export the mix in one piece for some time now, so i guess it’ll be a little bit longer before i can re-up it on here)

As I promised earlier… here is my approach on Nina Simone incorporating some classic Busta Rhymes material. Made this one three years ago with a good friend of mine who did the mayor job in Logic. Not quite up to date anymore but worth a post… reminds me on how everything started out and where we got till then.
