I've just started using 1.9, the sample player is great and the history is very useful. Still trying to find the easter eggs... Not sure about the SL3 box, expensive when you consider the SL1 does pretty much the same job. DJ Marky was using one when he played at Superfly, the layout is better for swapping out quickly and the box is smaller. Can't say I noticed a big difference in sound quality.

Im running the 1.9 beta since months without any issue. dont understand why it took so long to make it public maybe they wanted to wait for the sl3. people at ssl forum say that you notice a big difference in sound with the sl3 which does make sense, since it is the only real advantage the sl3 could have. connection wise it isnt that much different besides the auxs (core/asio drivers still missing) and the missing thrus which is giving you a hard time when chaining 2 systems. but the output seems to be much hotter and overall the sound quality is said to be way better. you notice a big difference playing with sl1 alongside a traktor scratch system, so this should be fixed with the sl3.
