There is a new Ting Tings tune out there called “Hands”. I first picked it up while i was on vacation in August and funny enough it didnt cause the media ruckus i expected it to do, but it surely will and most sincerely in my 80ies conditioned mind “its awesome”. Produced by Calvin Harris it sounds like a 80ies revival come-alive like i was in the Hot Tub Time Machine. Reminds me of Bananrama and makes me wanna call someone from a phone booth and go see a Michael J Fox movie..

My last week was pretty much amazing, great TOP FRIEND on Thursday and on Friday I got to know that I passed my graduation exams. So now, as I recovered from this heavy weekend-introduction and the days of celebration afterwards I’ll show you my 3 favourite Disco-Funk Tunes of the past week:

This has been on heavy rotation in my headphones for some time now. Was out dining with a girl last week at my favourite japanese place and i simply couldn’t stop singing, humming, whistling this tune, until i had half the restaurant asking me about this tune. Love spinning this huge track like about everything that Calvin Harris touches. Original by UK indie rock band The Hours.
