This Friday, Dec 23rd we’re throwing our first ball at Düsseldorf’s #1 spot namely the attic. Doors will be open by 11pm and the address is Kö 1. DJs will be Chrome and Passion who already stuffed their record bags (uh… laptops) with the latest in YUM YUM Sound. As did Meskla and I. The two of us will be spinning that very night as well at Dortmund’s counterpart of the attic: Daddy Blatzheim. If you’re happen to be anywhere near NRW you better come by … ;)

Chromemusic turns 7 today! And we are having a celebration tonight for our family & friends and i guess we are gonna have too much fun like Charlie Murphy (facebook addicts go here). And here, are as promised, 7 new mixtapes by most of our djs (act. 8), of course some are still missing but who cares. And we just realized  like 3 days ago that this weeknds our 7th anniversary with the website, so thanks to everyone involved for doing this on such short notice, inbetween traveling, working, love affairs, studying, break ups, moving houses and what not. The results are amazing. Schowi even did his mixtape on a train! And i had to lend a helping hand (recording wise) to some of our guys so there was zero time for a mix of mine, but i just put this one (YUM YUM The Dude Mix) online last week so no complaining k? Here is our video recap of last weekends YUM YUM Sommerfest. Almost all our Djs & peoples came together to play music with each other, have a drink too much, celebrate the remaining days of summer, come together as the family we are and enjoy life as we always do. It was a marvelous night to say the least and we will do this more often.

This will be a Massive dance on Friday. It has been some time now and now we are officially bringing all of our Friends, buddies, common enthusiasts together. Also our new chromemusic redesign will go online that very night with a 100 new features(!) Trust me, you are gonna like the new chromemusic design.

This Friday is gonna be a massive night, with us having our first official Sommerfest in 2 years (!) and its happening on 3 floors + a nice outdoor area, with YUM YUM Djs + crew from all over Germany (Berlin, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Nrw, Cologne, 2 of our people form Vienna and so on..). Also the CHICAS Sommerfest is happening at Ampere and we have been friends for many a years as well as BKLYN happening in the Outdoor area, who we have been friends with for as long as i can remember and they are part of our crew. This is such a lovely thing to happen and well in my opinion a massive dance i have waited for, for quite some time now. Here is the full floor list:

Toro Y Moi – Saturday Love

On Saturday 9th it’s again time for YUM YUM to come back to Magnapop Krefeld.
We are gonna celebrate summer together supported with very nice happy tunes by Tand Williams & Meskla.
Pretty sure it’s gonna be a blast and that it’s gonna be crowded like always so better be early and…don’t forget good mood and dancing shoes!

Mayer Hawthorne – Work to Do

Hands down! Another massive dance within the Ruhr area namely the Pott is upon us! We are more than happy to announce that we found a new home at the all new Daddy Blatzheim (find directions at their website) which is Dortmund’s venue to be right now. The club just opened up a few weeks ago and is already causing some massive impact. No wonder since the guys running things were also responsible for the well known Bosch Bobby (just to name one).

But I’m getting off topic. DJs will be Pretty Boy D-Nice! and myself. And from what I hear maybe we will be in for a surprise appearance. But we’ll see about that. Anyway, looking forward to this very mucho. The place is located within a park at a lakeside and has a rooftop terrace also. So if you’d like to take a breath of fresh air from all that dancing be in for a treat.

The carnage continues on Saturday where we will witness the end of an era or in other words our last YUM YUM at Hundertmeister Duisburg. But more on that by tomorrow. Take a sneak peak on who’s coming, put on your dancing shoes and bring a friend. See you there.

Hands down! A YUM YUM extraordinaire is upon us. Tomorrow DJ Eleven (The RUB, NYC) and I team up for the third time at Hundertmeister (directions via Google maps), Duisburg. Also after five wonderful years this will mark our next to last date at Hundertmeister!!

We will keep you posted on how things develop!
